Nightlase (Snoring Reduction)

Quality sleep is the foundation of health.

At Phi Skin Clinic, we offer NightLase®, a non-invasive, patient-friendly laser treatment designed to reduce the effects of sleep apnea and decrease the amplitude of snoring.

Treatment details:

  • NightLase® uses gentle, superficial laser light to warm the oral mucosa tissue.

    • Treatment length → 15–30 minutes.

    • Sensation → Minimal discomfort during and after the procedure

    • Onset → Most patients and their partners notice a significant decrease in the volume and intensity of snoring after the very first session. For optimal results often require a series of treatments, typically spaced a few weeks apart.

    • Duration → On average, the results of a full NightLase® protocol last 12 to 18 months.

  • There is no downtime, allowing patients to return to their normal routine right away.

    Common Side Effects:

    • Mild sore throat or scratchy sensation

    • Temporary dryness in the mouth or throat

    • Warmth or slight discomfort during treatment

    Uncommon Side Effects:

    • Swelling or irritation at the back of the throat

    • Temporary hoarseness

    • Minor difficulty swallowing (resolves within hours to a day)

    Rare Side Effects:

    • Burns or blistering of oral tissues (extremely rare with proper technique)

    • Prolonged discomfort or voice changes

    • Infection or delayed healing (very rare)

  • Precision requires patience. Regular follow up appointments are recommended to monitor progress

*To ensure your sleep remains quiet and restorative, we recommend a single maintenance session once a year. This "top-up" keeps the collagen fibers firm and prevents the airway from narrowing again.
