Phi Skin Clinic at the 2026 Controversies & Conversations Symposium
Continuing education is an important part of how we approach patient care at Phi Skin Clinic.
Recently, Phi Medical Aesthetician Scarlett Jo attended the 2026 Controversies & Conversations in Laser and Cosmetic Surgery symposium, held August 14-16, 2026 at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, representing Phi Skin Clinic alongside physicians and aesthetic professionals from across North America.
The conference explored advances in medical aesthetics, including energy-based technologies, non-surgical skin rejuvenation and tightening, treatment selection, patient safety, and evolving evidence within the industry.
For Scarlett, it was an opportunity to learn directly from leading physicians and experts while expanding her understanding of how different technologies and treatment approaches can be thoughtfully incorporated into individualized patient care.
Another area of focus was medical-grade skincare and the role it can play before, during, and after in-clinic treatments. Scarlett explored innovations from brands including Skinbetter Science and Revision Skincare, with particular interest in antioxidant protection, environmental stressors, and products designed to support the skin following procedures such as laser treatments and microneedling.
She also had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders in non-invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation, learning more about emerging technologies, their clinical applications, and developments we may consider for Phi in the future.
