Treatment details:

  • We utilize premium hyaluronic acid fillers to strategically restore volume and lift. By understanding the underlying fat pads and bone structure of the face, we don't just "fill" a fold; we support the architecture of the face.

    • Treatment length → 15-20 minutes.

    • Duration → The duration varies depending on the type of filler used and the area treated. Typically, hyaluronic acid fillers last between 9 to 18 months.

  • Most people can return to their usual activities right after the procedure, although it’s typical to have some swelling for a few hours or days. Bruising is rare but possible. It’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and exposure to extreme heat, such as saunas or sunbathing, for the first 24 to 48 hours.

    Immediately following treatment

    We offer ice packs and arnica cream to reduce swelling and the risk of bruising. While the procedure is typically well-tolerated, it’s important to be aware of possible side effects.

    Common Side Effects:

    • Swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site

    • Mild discomfort or tenderness

    • Temporary firmness or small lumps

    Uncommon Side Effects:

    • Uneven or asymmetric results

    • Prolonged swelling or inflammation

    • Mild skin discoloration (bluish hue from superficial placement, known as the Tyndall effect)

    Rare Side Effects:

    • Vascular occlusion (requires immediate medical attention)

    • Infection or abscess formation

    • Nodules or granulomas (rare immune response to filler material)

    • Avoid blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen) and supplements (like vitamin E and fish oil) for a week before the procedure to minimize bruising.

    • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment. Inform your practitioner about any medical conditions or allergies.

  • Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if necessary. Other types of fillers may not be as easily reversible and will need to wear off naturally.
