Treatment details:

Belkyra® is an injectable, synthetic version of deoxycholic acid. When strategically injected into the submental area, it permanently destroys the fat cells. Once these cells are eliminated, the area can no longer store or accumulate fat, resulting in a noticeably more contoured and sharp jawline.
- Treatment length → 15–20 minutes
- Sensation → You may feel a significant warming or "heavy" sensation in the area immediately after the injections, which subsides shortly after.
- Onset → This is a gradual transformation. As the body naturally clears the treated fat cells, the jawline tightens over several weeks.
- Duration → RWhile some change is visible after the first or second session, the peak results, the sharpest version of your jawline, are typically seen 8 to 12 weeks after your final treatment.
These are expected and indicate the treatment is working:
- Often referred to as 'social downtime,' swelling under the chin is common for 3–5 days.
- The treated area may feel firm, sensitive, or slightly numb for up to two weeks.
- Minor localized bruising at the injection sites.

Rare Side Effects
